🎥 How to use CrocoLive to broadcast your community lives

Did you know that you can use CrocoLive software to stream your live events directly to your CrocoClick Community?

This method combines the power of CrocoLive software (with its advanced features) and the simplicity of live streaming integrated into your community.

It's the perfect solution for hosting your webinars, challenges, or live events, while keeping your members connected within your CrocoClick space 🐊

🎯 Objective

Broadcast a live stream launched via CrocoLive directly to a CrocoClick community group or channel using the "Streaming Software" feature.

⚙️ Step 1 — Open your Community and launch CrocoLive

  1. Log in to your CrocoClick Community.

  2. Click on 📹 Community Live ❤️‍🔥 (at the top right of the discussion thread).

  3. In the window that opens, fill in:

    • The title and description of the live stream,

    • The channel where you want to broadcast,

    • (Optional) Notify members to alert your audience.

    • (Optional) Keep the replay in your community feed

💡 Step 2 — Select "Streaming Software"

In the Choose Video Source section:

  1. Select "Streaming Software."

  2. CrocoClick will display two essential pieces of information:

    • Server URL

    • Stream Key

These two values allow your CrocoLive software to stream live video to your community.

🔐 Step 3 — Copy and assemble the broadcast URL

To ensure the connection works properly:

  1. Copy the server URL.

  2. Add a "/",

  3. Paste the streaming key right after it.

👉 Example:

rtmps://gsds5s6945e.livekit.cloud/x/1234abcd5678efgh

This complete URL is the one you will need to enter into your streaming software.

🧠 Step 4: Enter the complete URL in CrocoLive

  1. Launch CrocoLive.

  2. Click on the gear icon in the top bar to open the settings

  3. Click on "Broadcast to other platforms."

  4. Select "Custom."

  5. Paste the full URL (server + / + key).

  6. Join the Live room by clicking on "Join Room."

  7. Start the live stream by clicking on the Live button again

  8. Return to CrocoClick and start the live stream by clicking on Community Live

Your video stream is now being sent to CrocoClick 🎯 Your community members will see the live stream in the selected channel.

💬 Step 5 — Interact with your community

Once the live stream has started:

  • Members can watch live,

  • Chat in the integrated chat,

  • And you can follow their interactions in real time.
