You can configure CrocoClick to automatically send a certificate when a student passes a quiz or assignment in your course.

This guide explains how to do this using our Automations module.

✅ Overview

The goal: to automatically trigger the sending of a certificate as soon as a user successfully completes a quiz or assignment.

To do this, you will use:

  • the “Lesson Completed” trigger

  • filters to target the correct quiz

  • the “Issue Certificate” action

⚙️ Detailed steps

1. Add the trigger

  1. Create an automation in CrocoClick.

  2. Click Add a trigger.

  3. Select Lesson Completed.

2. Add filters

To target only the desired quiz (or assignment), configure the following filters:

  • Product → choose your Course

  • Category → select the module where your quiz is located

  • Lesson → choose the specific quiz or assignment

This ensures that the certificate will only be sent if the user completes that specific lesson (otherwise, this automation will trigger for ALL lessons)

3. Add the “Issue a Certificate” action

  1. Click the + symbol below the trigger.

  2. Select Issue a Certificate from the list of actions.

  3. Choose the certificate template you want to use.

🎉 That’s it!

CrocoClick will now automatically send a certificate to your user as soon as they pass the configured quiz or assignment.
