Receive mail elsewhere than in CrocoClick

Use reply-to and forwarding addresses to redirect replies to CrocoClick to another mailbox (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) using the forwarding and BCC options

In CrocoClick, you have additional settings that allow you to receive copies of incoming emails in your account by using a forwarding address or adding a blind carbon copy (BCC).

💡TIP: Please note that by using an email account outside of CrocoClick, you are removing part of the platform's systemic and unified nature. This is because you cannot track what happens outside of CrocoClick (in your Gmail account, for example) in CrocoClick.

Where to find the Reply and Forward settings

To access these options, go to Settings > Email Services in your CrocoClick interface.

Explanations of the different options

1. Forwarding Address

With the forwarding address, if a prospect replies to an email, their reply will always appear in the "Conversations" tab.

However, if you want a COPY of this reply to be sent to another email address, you can enter this address as the forwarding address.

You can add multiple forwarding addresses by separating them with commas, for example: email1@exemple.com, email2@exemple.com, email3@exemple.com

2. Reply Address

If you do NOT want emails to land in the CrocoClick conversations tab, use a reply address.

With this configuration, all incoming emails will be directed straight to the reply email address instead of being redirected to the "Conversations" tab.

💡TIP: If you reply to emails from your prospects directly from your inbox (outside of CrocoClick), your reply will not be synchronized in the CRM.

You can add up to 5 email addresses for replies.

This option is available in Settings > Email Services > Reply and Forward Settings > Reply Address.

Don't forget to click Save after entering a reply address.

3. BCC emails

With the BCC emails option, you will receive a blind carbon copy of every email sent.

This option can be found in Settings > Email Services > Reply and Forward Settings > BCC Emails.

4. Forward to Assigned User

The user assigned to the prospect will automatically receive replies in their email inbox.

The email will be sent to the address specified for that user, which you can configure in Settings > My Team > Edit User > User Information.

This is the same as a forwarding address, except that instead of setting a fixed address, the email is forwarded to the assigned user.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why are attachments not forwarded with replies?

A: The forwarding settings in the email services tab do not support the forwarding of attachments. If the contact replies with an attachment, you will need to view the conversation directly in CrocoClick to see it.

Q: Why do the forwarding addresses I added disappear after I try to save them?

A: If the email addresses are invalid or conflict with dedicated domains already added to your account, they cannot be used as forwarding addresses.
