The Wave integration allows you to automatically synchronize invoices created in CrocoClick with your Wave account, eliminating the need for manual re-entry.

This integration is designed for simple, one-way use, with CrocoClick as the source of truth for billing.

What the integration does

CrocoClick → Wave (one-way)

  • Synchronizes new invoices created in CrocoClick.

  • Synchronizes updates to these invoices:

    • Billing lines

    • Totals

    • Customer information

Once sent, invoices automatically appear in Wave.

Important limitations (Wave)

⚠️ Limitations related to the Wave API

Wave does not currently allow:

  • Synchronization of payment receipts.

  • Synchronization of status changes (paid, partially paid, etc.).

Consequence

  • Invoices are created and updated correctly in Wave.

  • The payment status sometimes needs to be adjusted manually in Wave.

This behavior is normal and depends on the capabilities of the Wave API.

Set up integration

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.

  2. Open Wave.

  3. Click Manage or Connect.

  4. Log in to your Wave account.

  5. Authorize the requested access.

  6. Select the Wave account to sync invoices to.

  7. Click Save.

From this point on, any invoice created in CrocoClick can be automatically sent to Wave.

Best practices

  • Connect Wave before creating your final invoices.

  • Use CrocoClick for creation and business logic.

  • Use Wave for accounting tracking and payment statuses.

  • Test with a test invoice immediately after connecting.

Troubleshooting

Invoices are not syncing

  • Check that the Wave integration is properly connected.

  • Verify that the invoice was created after connecting.

  • Verify that the correct Wave account is selected.

  • Test with a new invoice.

Incorrect payment status

  • Expected behavior.

  • Wave does not always support status updates via API.

  • Update the status directly in Wave.
