Would you like your website to appear directly when visitors type your domain name (e.g., mondomaine.com) without having to add /accueil, /home, or any other path after it?

Not only is this possible, but it’s also recommended to provide a professional and consistent experience for your visitors.

Here’s how to set your actual homepage in just a few clicks in CrocoClick.

Why set a “Default Page”?

By default, each page or step in a funnel has a specific path (e.g., /landing-page).

By setting a Default Page, you’re simply telling CrocoClick:

"When someone types in my domain alone (e.g., CrocoClick.com), display this page."

This allows for:

  • A clean URL, without unnecessary extensions

  • A better user experience

  • Brand consistency

  • An essential setup for a professional website

Steps to connect your homepage to the root domain

1. Open the domain settings

  • In the left-hand menu, go to Settings.

  • Click the Domains tab.

2. Select your domain

  • Find your domain name in the list (e.g., mondomaine.com).

  • Click the Edit icon (the pencil or the three dots on the right).

3. Choose your Default Page

In the window that opens:

  • Locate the Default Page field.

  • Open the dropdown menu.

  • Select the page or funnel step that should become your homepage.

💡 TIP: If you have multiple sites or funnels, first select the correct site/funnel, then choose the exact page you want to display as the homepage.

4. Save

Simply click Save to confirm the change.

That’s it!

From now on, anyone visiting:
👉 https://mondomaine.com will be automatically and seamlessly redirected to the page you’ve set.

No visible redirects.
No complicated URLs.
Just your site, clean and accessible.

Helpful technical note

If you’ve already shared links with an old path (/accueil, /page-1, etc.):

  • They will continue to work normally

  • You don’t need to update anything

  • This change simply adds direct access via the domain root
