The branded Customer Portal mobile app is an additional service that lets you offer your customers an iOS and Android app customized with your branding, directly from CrocoClick.

This article provides a step-by-step guide to preparing everything you need to launch your app.

✅ Essential Prerequisites

⚠️ No app can be developed or submitted until all of the prerequisites below have been validated. The app stores (Apple & Google) are strict: a single missing or inconsistent element will result in rejection.

🔢 D-U-N-S Number

The D-U-N-S number officially identifies your organization with Apple and Google.

Why is it mandatory?

  • It proves the legal existence of your business

  • It allows you to create Organization developer accounts

  • It is used by Apple to verify your legal identity

How to obtain it

⏱️ Typical processing time: 5 to 30 business days (varies by country)

⚠️ Critical considerations

  • The legal name returned by D-U-N-S must match exactly:

    • the Google Developer account name

    • the Apple Developer account name

  • No abbreviations

  • No variations (e.g., “SAS” vs. “S.A.S”)

Any inconsistency = app rejection

🤖 Google Developer Account (Android)

Requirements

  • Account type: Organization

  • Account must be verified

  • Fee: $25 (one-time payment)

Recommendations

  • Create a Google account dedicated to the business

  • Do not use an existing personal account

⚠️ Common mistakes

  • Wrong account type → automatic rejection

  • Name differs from D-U-N-S number → blocked

🍎 Apple Developer Account (iOS)

Apple is the strictest app store.

Requirements

  • Account type: Organization

  • Fee: $99/year

  • Account legally validated by Apple
