CrocoClick communities allow you to exchange, share, and interact with other members.

To stay informed about important activities (new members, comments, mentions, payments, etc.), you can enable or disable email notifications and customize their content.

1. Access settings

  1. In your CrocoClick admin area, go to:
Subscriptions → Customer Portal → Settings → Email Settings.

  2. Click on the Communities tab.

  3. You will see a list of all possible notifications (membership, posts, mentions, courses, subscriptions, etc.).

2. Enable or disable a notification

  • Each notification has a checkbox.

  • Checked ✅ = the member receives the email.

  • Unchecked ❌ = no email is sent.

👉 EXAMPLE: You can choose to send an email when a member is approved in a group, but disable notifications for each new comment to avoid spam.

3. Customize the content of emails

  1. To the right of each notification, click Default Template.

  2. In the email editor, you can edit:

    • The subject of the email.

    • The pre-header (preview text).

    • The content (text, buttons, links).

  3. Use dynamic variables to personalize each email.

  4. Click on the 👁 icon to preview.

  5. Save your changes → they will be applied immediately.

4. Types of notifications available

You can manage several categories of emails:

🔑 Invitations and membership

  • Invitation to join a group

  • Membership status (approved, declined, pending request)

💬 Community activity

  • New comment or reply

  • Mention in a post or comment

  • Reported content

  • New calendar event

📚 Courses (if enabled in the community)

  • New course added

  • Course unlocked (based on progress)

💳 Payment/Subscription

  • Payment successful

  • Subscription canceled

5. Best practices

  • Send fewer but better emails: focus on important notifications (e.g., mentions, new courses, payments), especially if you have many members or a very active community.

  • Personalize your email subjects to encourage people to open them (e.g., "Welcome to MySuperGroup! 🎉").

  • Check your templates by previewing them before publishing.

6. Quick FAQ

Can I disable all notifications at once?

No, you must uncheck each type of notification separately.

Can I create several different templates for the same type of notification?

No, only one template is associated with each notification. You can modify it at any time.

What happens if I leave the "default" template?

The standard CrocoClick email (in English) will be sent automatically.
