The Payment received trigger allows you to automatically launch all the steps that follow payment validation. No more time-consuming manual tasks: order confirmation, access to training, segmentation of your contacts, or creation of tasks for your team can all be done with a single click.

Step 1: Create a new workflow

  1. Log in to your CrocoClick account.

  2. Go to the Automation section.

  3. Click on + Create a workflow.

Step 2: Add the Payment Received trigger

  1. In the workflow editor, click Add Trigger.

  2. Select Payment Received from the list of available triggers.

Step 3: Set filters (optional)

You can refine when the workflow triggers by adding filters:

  • Product (Global product): include or exclude a specific product (select "Is" or "Is Not").

  • Payment status: distinguish between successful and failed payments.

  • Source: restrict to payments from a form, funnel, website, etc.

Step 4: Use the "If/Else" condition action (optional)

Add an If/Else block to create multiple branches in your flow by reusing the same filters. You can also use:

  • Payment amount as a condition

  • Sub-source directly, without having to configure the source beforehand

Step 5: Configure automated actions

In the drop-down menu, choose the channel where you want to send the payment information (email, SMS, CRM tag, task creation, etc.). Add as many actions as necessary for your workflow.

Use case

  • Send a confirmation email and a download link after purchase

  • Automatically unlock access to a training course or module

  • Segment contacts by purchase amount for targeted campaigns

  • Create a follow-up task for the sales team on large purchases

  • Assign a "VIP" tag to regular customers

Conclusion

The Payment Received trigger automates all the key steps that follow a transaction, saving you time, reducing errors, and providing a professional customer experience. For any questions or additional assistance, visit our CrocoClick Help Center or contact our support team.
