Are you having trouble with set up or use Instagram/Facebook actions and triggers in CrocoClick?
Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions:
Q: I connected Facebook & Instagram, but when I set up my automation, it tells me that I don't have a connected page.
A: This problem is often caused by connecting Facebook and Instagram in the scheduler but not in the integrations.
To integrate your account, go to Settings > Integrations, then add your Facebook/Instagram account.
Q: I can't select Facebook & Instagram actions and triggers in automation.
A: Same solution as above: first check that your Facebook account is properly integrated. To integrate your account, go to Settings > Integrations, then add your Facebook/Instagram account.
Q: Why do all the filters disappear when I delete "Page is" in the trigger?
A: The "Page is" filter is the main filter for Interactive Messenger. Deleting it automatically removes all filters linked to it.
Q: How many buttons can I add to the Interactive Messenger action?
A: You can add up to 3 buttons to offer different options to your users within the interactive message.
Q: Can I add actions after the "Call" button?
A: No, the "Call" button represents the final action. Users who click on it are redirected directly to the Default Branch of the automation.
Q: When should I use the "Reply to DM" option?
A: You can use "Reply to DM" in two cases:
To initiate a conversation: reply privately to users who send you a direct message (DM).
To continue a conversation: send follow-up messages after an initial "Reply to comment via DM."
Q: Does "Reply to DM" work every time?
A: The system checks to see if there has been an active conversation in the last 24 hours. If there has been no recent conversation, the message will not be sent.
Q: How long do I have to reply to a comment?
A: You have 7 days to send a reply to a comment via DM. After this time, the message delivery will fail.
Q: Can I continue the conversation if the user has not replied to my DM (which was already a reply to the comment)?
A: If the user does not reply, they are automatically directed to the Default Branch. In this case, you will not be able to use a new Interactive Messenger action to continue the exchange. However, if the user replies, you can continue the conversation using the appropriate action.
Q: I want to send a "Reply to DM" to a comment, but it's not working. Why?
A: To send a reply to the comment via DM, check that the Reply Type is set as follows:
Reply to comment via DM for the first action
Reply to DM for all subsequent actions in the workflow
Q: What is the default wait time in the Interactive Messenger action?
A: The default wait time is 1 minute (this can be changed). If no button is selected by the user, the contact is redirected to the Default Timeout branch.
Q: Does this trigger also work for ads?
A: Yes, simply select Custom in "Post type" and paste the URL of the sponsored post in the "Post is" field. The trigger will then work with your Ads.
Q: How do I trigger automation if my post is scheduled but not yet published?
A: If the post is not yet published, CrocoClick does not have access to it. It is therefore not possible to select that particular post.
In this case, the easiest method is to use a "contains phrase" filter unique to this post, and not to add a "post is" filter. This way, automation will trigger regardless of the post (including the upcoming post), as long as the person enters the word you have specified.
