Affiliate payments are a key component of running a successful affiliate program. Here is an FAQ that answers common questions about managing payments in CrocoClick.
1. What steps are required to enable automatic affiliate payments via PayPal?
Two conditions must be met to use the automatic payment feature via PayPal:
Link a PayPal Business account to your CrocoClick account.
Add your affiliates’ PayPal accounts in the Payment Methods section.
💡 TIP: Check out our article at How to automate affiliate payments with Paypal to learn more.
2. How do I hide the PayPal button on my order forms while still using PayPal to pay my affiliates?
To prevent the PayPal button from appearing on your sales funnels or websites, but keep it integrated for affiliate payments, follow these steps:
Go to the relevant sales funnel or website.
Click the Settings tab.
Add this code to the Tracking Code section in the header:
<style> .paypal-content { display: none; } .order-form-v2 > div > .divider { display: none; } </style>Click Save.
This code hides the PayPal button while keeping it active for affiliate payments.
3. Who has permission to make automatic payments to affiliates via PayPal?
Only account administrators can access this feature.
4. How are payments for recurring products handled with PayPal?
Payments for recurring products are automatically generated based on the commissions due. However, you must:
Manually click Pay Now to finalize the transaction.
Note that CrocoClick does not process recurring payments automatically for security and authentication reasons.
5. Why can’t I pay certain affiliates via PayPal?
Affiliates must have a PayPal account added in the Payment Methods section to receive their payments. If an affiliate has not yet added their PayPal account, an error icon will appear, along with an Add Account option.
6. Can I use payment methods other than PayPal to pay my affiliates?
Yes, you can pay your affiliates using other manual methods (bank transfer, checks, etc.):
Make the payment manually using the method of your choice.
Mark the payments as completed in CrocoClick by recording them in the Approved Payments tab.
7. How can I manage payments for affiliates in CrocoClick?
Go to the Payments section in Affiliate Manager and use the following tabs to track payments:
Pending: List of payments awaiting approval.
Approved: Payments ready to be processed.
Paid: List of completed transactions.
Rejected: Canceled payments.
With these features, you can easily manage your affiliates’ payments and ensure an efficient and transparent partnership.
