Customizing the welcome email for your new affiliates is essential for strengthening your communication and making their experience more professional. Here’s a simple guide to creating and setting up a personalized email template.

Step 1: Create the personalized email template

  1. Access email templates

    • Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates and click Create a new template.

  2. Write the email template and add dynamic values

    • Rename your template and write the content of your email.

    • Include affiliate-related dynamic values to automatically insert information into the email.

    • Among the dynamic values we recommend adding:

      • Campaign Name: Allows you to specify the name of the affiliate campaign.

      • Unique affiliate link (Affiliate Link): This is the personalized link your affiliates can share to earn commissions.

      • Commission Value: Specifies the percentage or fixed amount of commissions, for example, 30% per sale.

      • Link to the dashboard (Client Portal URL App): Provides affiliates with direct access to track their performance and commissions in real time.

  3. Save the email template
    Once the personalized email is ready, click Save Template to save your changes.

Step 2: Edit the default welcome email

  1. Access affiliate settings

    • Go to Affiliate Manager > Settings.

  2. Change the default email

    • Under Email Template, select the email template you just created to replace the default one.

    • Click Save to confirm your changes.

💡TIP: Changing the default email template does not affect existing affiliate campaigns. To ensure new affiliates receive the personalized email, remember to manually update the settings in each existing campaign.
